Week 1
Personal Lessons Learned
1. The Team itself is very important in order to start a business.
Although Povilas was critical about the latter statement the girls were able to convince him. Why was he so critical and how did the girls convince him?
Well, our business concept is based on an online platform, which any IT guy/girl with the right skills could develop himself/herself.
We may all agree on that… However, could the IT guy/girl come up with such a brilliant idea? Could the IT guy/girl have the right soft skills to handle potential investors? Could the IT guy/girl manage the business alone when it goes viral (it will!)? Well, we don’t think so... and neither does Povilas anymore!
2. Time Management is hard work and very crucial.
You might not believe us, but arranging a meeting between very important and busy people (like us!) is indeed hard work!
Considering this main struggle we were actually thinking about developing an application for smartphones that will cross all our agendas in order to find free time that suits us all!
3. Multicultural teams rocks!!
At this time you may have notice that we are a very multicultural group! However, besides our (very) different backgrounds we do get along very well! More importantly, we found out that different people bring very different perspectives to the same problem - that is, what we call, quality input!

Business Development Lessons Learned
1. We can’t please everyone!
With a newly born concept, fresh business developers want to please and reach as many people as possible. However, we did quickly find out that we do not have the tools or required information to please everyone in a first stage. This crucial question quickly led us to a redefinition of our target market.
2. It’s not all about the money!
As fresh business developers it is to expect that revenue streams are a big concern for us! However, we did reach to the conclusion that we can provide a quality service and charge no money for it.
3. “Dig Deep”!
Within our Business Model Canvas development we realized that one of our main struggles had something to do with overcoming our own horizon. Although, it may seem like our main target group was focused on students, we began thinking about the entire process and supply as well as value chain of our business idea. Finally, we realized that our target group consists of two different perspectives:
the B2C and the B2B side.
