Week 2
"Remember, teamwork begins by building trust.
And the only way to do that is to overcome our need for invulnerability. "
(Patrick Lencioni)
Personal Lessons LearnedOne of our main lessons during the second week was the necessity of building trust within the Uni2Go group.
We want to develop confidence and reliance through honesty and reliability. Admitting mistakes and weaknesses are character traits that we cherish. Nobody in our team has to be afraid to tell each other their thoughts and doubts. We want to motivate and be there for each other. Only if we face challenges and overcome them together as a team we will be stronger and grow beyond our expectations. And we shall never forget - once our team is strong and works as one - we shouldn't stay only within the team! We have to go out into the big world and spread OUR idea with everyone! This is why our motto of this week is: Don't be shy! Don't be afraid! Talk, ask and reflect! |

Business Development Lessons Learned
For a startup like us, it is impossible to generate revenue through advertising. We don't have any customers visiting our website...yet! Why should a company pay to advertise for (literally) nothing?
This made us rethink our revenue streams and we came to the conclusion: why not try it out with crowd-funding and donations? If students really have the finding-the-right-university-problem, they should be interested in donating some money in order to make this project happen, right?
Our task is now, to find the following out: does this problem really exist? Would they pay for the usage of such a platform or will students only consider using it, when it is provided for free?
