Week 5
Personal Lessons Learned
Decision making is not easy!
Sometimes one of the team members has to step up and has to decide in order to keep it going.
Embrace virtual work!
Being a student means attending classes, doing homework, and being involved in extracurricular activities. Finding the balance between these different responsibilities and many others can be indeed very challenging....and then there comes these group works, which can be very time consuming: meeting up at one place, discussing, listening and coming to a conclusion can take hours.
Nowadays, we luckily have technologies that enable us to still work in a group, however, we don't have to be at the exact same spot at the same time.

Business Development Lessons Learned
It is not easy to stand in somebody else's shoes i.e. staying in the role of the customer (what he feels, sees, thinks etc.) You may easily fall into using stereotypes. Therefore it is important to be critical about stereotypes and don't take anything for granted.
For example when we had the opinion that students want everything for free, we found out after interviewing some, that there are indeed some who are willing to pay if they see enough value in the product or service.
